1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use brihadconsultancyservices.com or book any service from Brihad Consultancy Services, a proprietorship registered in India (Udyam Reg. No. UDYAM-JK-07-0091127), based in Pune, Maharashtra (“Brihad”, “we”, “us”).

For projects and retainers, a written proposal or statement of work (SOW) sets out the scope, price and timeline. If the SOW and these terms differ, the SOW applies.

2. Prices, sessions and response times

Free first session. One free session of up to 60 minutes is offered per organisation to new clients. We may decline or reschedule a free session at our discretion, and availability depends on our calendar.

Expert sessions. Further sessions are charged at the hourly rate shown on our pricing page at the time of booking, are paid in advance, and last up to 60 minutes unless agreed otherwise.

Rescheduling and cancellation. You can reschedule or cancel a paid session free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions missed or cancelled with less notice may be charged in full.

Prices. Prices on our website are starting prices in US dollars and may change without notice. Amounts shown in other currencies are indicative conversions only. Your final price is the one in your written quote or SOW. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

Taxes and charges. Prices exclude taxes, duties, bank charges and currency-conversion fees, which are payable by the client where they apply.

Durations. Typical durations shown for health checks, sprints and other projects are estimates. Timelines depend on timely access to your people, data and systems.

Response times. We aim to reply to messages within one business day (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in India). This is a service target, not a guarantee. Response times for active engagements are set in the SOW.

Payment. Unless the SOW says otherwise, fixed-scope projects are invoiced 50% on signing and 50% on delivery, and retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Invoices are payable within 14 days.

3. How we work

We provide advisory, consulting and delivery-management services using reasonable skill and care. Where the scope requires, we may engage vetted specialists to work under our direction; we remain responsible for their work.

Our advice is based on the information you provide. Decisions to act on our recommendations, and the results of those decisions, remain your responsibility.

4. Confidentiality

We keep your business information confidential and use it only to deliver our services. We will sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement on request before you share sensitive information.

5. Intellectual property

Once paid for in full, you own the deliverables created specifically for you. We keep ownership of our pre-existing methods, templates and know-how, and you receive a licence to use them as part of the deliverables.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction, unless your SOW specifies otherwise. This does not remove any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights you have in your own country.
